| GP1BA-Ab;CD42β-Ab

Platelet glycoprotein Ibα chain, also known as glycoprotein Ib (platelet), alpha polypeptide, or CD42b (cluster of differentiation 42b), is a protein encoded by the GP1BA gene. It is a platelet surface membrane glycoprotein, an heterodimer composed of α and β chains linked by disulfide bonds. Several polymorphisms and mutations of this gene have been described, some of which cause Bernard-Soulier syndrome and platelet-type von Willebrand disease.
